Taguig City, Philippines — What started as a regular workday turned into an unforgettable celebration of teamwork, energy, and heart as PNB Holdings Corporation (PHC) hosted its first-ever Sportsfest, proving that the spirit of champions lives within every employee.

Held at Pretty Huge BGC, McKinley Pkwy, Taguig City, the event brought together teams from across the organization for a full day of friendly competition, laughter, and connection. From intense basketball matchups to high-energy cheering squads and fun games, the Sportsfest was more than just a break from the office but a showcase of unity and passion.

“Today wasn’t just about playing games—it was about moving, connecting, and celebrating what makes us stronger together,” said Chief Operating Officer Joselito R. Consunji in his closing remarks. “We didn’t just compete—we discovered new strengths in ourselves and in each other. And that’s what makes this Sportsfest truly special.”

The event was a product of months of planning and collaboration, led by the HR and Admin team. Vice President for HR and Admin Gladys K. Uy shared her pride in the success of the event:

“This Sportsfest is more than just a one-day event, but a reflection of our culture,” Uy said. “When we move together, we grow together. And today, we saw just how powerful that can be.”

Employees from all departments participated with enthusiasm, many stepping out of their comfort zones to try new sports or cheer on their colleagues. The result? A day filled with unforgettable moments, strengthened bonds, and a renewed sense of team spirit.

As the sun set on the day’s final game, one thing was clear: PHC’s Sportsfest was about building a winning culture.
