Makati City, Philippines – On October 30, 2024, the PNB Holdings Headquarters at PHC Makati Center transformed into a scene of creative fright and fantasy for the annual “Spooky and Sweet” Halloween Party. Employees across departments participated in a day filled with unique office decor, whimsical costumes, and a shared sense of camaraderie.
Each Department was a unique experience, with office decor themes ranging from traditional Halloween spookiness to intricate, movie-inspired settings. Employees showed off their creativity with designs inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia’s enchanted garden, the whimsical world of Super Mario Bros., the creepy atmosphere of It, and more.
The celebration also highlighted a costume competition, where employees arrived in impressive costumes, adding to the festive spirit and enhancing the overall office atmosphere.
Ms. Gladys K. Uy, VP for Human Resources and Admin, said the Halloween celebration was more than just a fun gathering. “The event highlights the importance of teamwork and camaraderie among our group. It also showcases the creativity of our teams as they venture into decor-making and costume-showcasing activities,” Uy added.
The Spooky and Sweet Decor Competition saw multiple departments recognized for their efforts. The IT and Purchasing Departments, Accounting and Treasury Departments, Corporate Communications Department, Legal Department, and the Executive Office each won accolades for their engaging and inventive decorations, making this Halloween a memorable one for everyone at PHC.
